Project Engineer - Compression & Power - Calgary The Project Engineer role is within the P&ID discipline of gas compression packages for Canadian markets. Responsibilities: Concurrent engineering design of multiple projects Understanding and incorporating specifications, inspection, and QC requirements Generating engineering / technical calculations. Generating P&ID flow diagrams c/w material take-offs. Attending & initiating as required, technical meetings internally / externally Generating package automation control philosophy Initiating change orders based on changes to the scope of supply within P&ID. Generating QC and O & M manuals. Shop Tours and deficiency lists. Fielding technical & project execution questions and problems Qualifications: 4 + years of technical experience related to the natural gas industry. Professional status with APEGGA is required; P.Tech with ASET is also acceptable. Familiar with related Codes: B31.3, ASME Sect VIII, API 618, GPSA, NEC/CEC Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment with all internal / external stakeholders.. Strong technical abilities relating to rotating equipment and controls. No direct or indirect reports. Travel as required to meetings outside of Calgary. No signing authority. ES3 position. Standard office working hours.
