We are seeking candidates for the Head of Communications at a Bank.

Job Summary:
-- The Head of Communications is responsible to create, implement and oversee the Communications programmes that effectively describe and promote the Bank and its products and services. The Head should play a lead and key role in developing a positive and strong brand identity of the Bank.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
-- Developing and implementing the bank's Communications strategy in coordination with the advertising and PR agency.
-- Developing collateral and publications such as corporate presentations, brochures, newsletters, annual reports, website, product leaflets, corporate media campaigns, documentaries, success stories, corporate giveaways and memorabilia and other publications for external and internal circulation to create and promote a positive image of the Bank and its services.
-- Developing a strong, uniform and positive outlook of the branches that reflect the bank brand.
-- Disseminating information and creating awareness about the Bank through newspapers, magazines, periodicals, television, radio and other forms of media.
-- Identifying and capitalising on networking opportunities with prospective customers (depositors).
-- Planning and organising events to promote the Bank and its services.
-- Assisting the top management in the preparation of presentations and speeches geared towards external stakeholders (banking sector, shareholders, media groups) and employees to project a positive image of the Bank.
-- Assisting the top management in developing and effectively communicating the Bank’s vision, mission, values, guiding principles and behaviours to internal and external audiences.
-- Ensuring compliance with the Graphics Identity Standards and set values and behaviours that reflect the corporate brand.
-- Assist in developing and implementing the marketing strategy which would include branding, positioning and message development for the Bank’s various products.
-- Facilitating the product management group in the development of promotional activities to gain customer support by promoting a positive image of the Bank.
-- Assist in designing and implementing customer research studies to gain insights on existing brand perceptions.
-- Developing and maintaining Stakeholders’ relations - Liaison with customers, Government, shareholders, institutions, BOD and other stakeholders.
-- Liaising with the media agencies through press releases, media events, placement of corporate and recruitment ads (Campaign development to implementation) and Information sharing / Personal contact.
-- Assist in developing an internal system of communications whereby employees feel informed and heard.
-- Providing supervision and direction to staff in developing themselves as brand ambassadors and projecting the right image of the Bank.
-- Developing an effective means of communicating positive change within the Bank.
-- Provide communications support for strategic corporate initiatives including Annual Meetings, reports, major organizational announcements, etc.
-- Develop and manage communications mechanisms to enhance internal communications. Seek and implement leading-edge improvements to drive newsletter / web site and intranet readership and increase user engagement.
-- Provide strategic input; plan, develop and execute a wide range of internal communications programs and events.
-- As part of maintaining the right image of the Bank in the public eye and in case of negative comments by customers or media, accidents affecting employees, service recall etc, the Head of Communications is responsible for effective media handling, crisis management audit / health check, issues tracking and advice, and crisis management planning and implementation.
