Senior Php Team Leader

cMediacrm needs a PHP Team Leader with at least 4 years of experience. The candidate must be well versed with PHP and well-used frameworks. The candidate must also have experience in designing and making e-commerce systems. Knowledge of Content Management Systems is a must. The candidate shall be able to lead a team to deliver solutions on time. They shall be responsible for assigning work to team members, tracking their progress, reporting to higher management, keeping schedules, researching new technologies and implementing them and ensure that the team follows development processes.
Although not required, but we will highly prefer candidates who have insight into mobile phone application development for popular platforms. The ideal candidate will also have sufficient knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and they will build SEO friendly structures and follow processes to improve site rankings.

NOTE:
This job is a home base job and as such the candidate must have excellent broadband access, UPS and a quiet environment from which to make and receive calls. The ability to use IT communication systems such as Skype and a good understanding of technology would extremely useful. Skype is the preferred mechanism of internal communications and so this must be downloaded before an interview can take place. The candidate will have to present online for fixed office working hours. This is not a part time position.

Skills Required:

- Ideal candidate must be very good in PHP/MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, and equipped with healthy experience of the professional market.
- Highly self-motivated individual with strong commitment to meet deadlines and ability to work independently.
- Must have the ability to lead a team throughout the project life cycle.
- Candidate must have a significant knowledge of complex database concepts and ensures project teams are effectively employing appropriate database design techniques.
- Possesses significant knowledge of requirements and design considerations of complex and scalable web based applications.
- Conduct competitive research and develop SEO campaign strategy.
- A thorough understanding of the test phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, knowledge of all phases of SDLC.
- Expert in site structure and implement all necessary SEO related changes - Website copy writing.
- Develop keywords, optimized meta-tag, title/page description.
- Good concepts of PHP, Web designing, Databases, JavaScript, and Web 2.0. Skills in PHP related packages are a PLUS.
- Understands the benefits of the various programming languages and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.
- A good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Dreamweaver, Zend Framework, XML and XSLT transformations, Web services, client / server.
- Manage the strategic planning and scheduling for the team
- Must have excellent problem solver at their core coupled with strong hands-on experience working on large-scale web applications.
- Knowledge of client/server and Internet systems architectures and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.
- In depth experience of managing software development teams. Experience of managing more than one team is preferred.
- Candidate must demonstrate work experience of using design patterns and optimization of web-based applications also work experience with more than one relational database management system.
- Primarily responsible for developing dynamic sites for mobile users using XHTML Mobile Profile, Mobile AJAX and related technologies.
- Hands on experience of developing web applications that dynamically render content based on target client platforms (web, mobile, blackberry etc.)
- Experience with a diverse toolset including JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Server side technology, Web 2.0, XML, JQUERY
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English - written and verbal.
- Good Presentation & cooperation skills and must have ability to work with team.
