Department Technical Operations Job Summary Responsible for the supervision of hardware and software for system controllers. Maintain integrity of forward and reverse network.
Essential Functions of the position
Supervise operations between system controllers and billing computer interface; maintain event schedules and complete daily data base backups on system controllers Maintain controller channel lineups and on screen messages for converters; manage PPV collection schedules for two-way plant Monitor and report non-responding converters; support converter initialization process as needed Compile and generate system controller reports for converters; monitor controller data for converters through converter diagnostics Support data interface between billing computers and system controllers Support new product launches; add new service channel tags and software configuration changes as needed Ensure PPV events are loaded to system encoders in a timely manner; monitor controller activity during major PPV events Perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or electronics or equivalent experience
