Medical Graduates having 1-2 years experience in research/sales role within pharmaceutical industry.
The job requires extensive research work and presenting the raw data in an effective way, therefore the candidate should be well versed in usage of internet and MS Office applications and is required to have strong analytical, research and report writing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Become familiar with company products, the UK NHS and the July 2010 White Paper
• Become aware of the UK Pharmaceutical Industry and the role it plays within the NHS
• Keep up to date with PCT guidelines on glucosamine prescribing
• Review PCT websites regularly to see if there is any news / updates on glucosamine
• Identify all PCT guidelines on constipation
• Perform research on local Minor Ailment Schemes for constipation products
• Support on various data manipulation projects
• Be up to date with all websites for patient support groups to see what they are saying about glucosamine
• Provide ad-hoc research support
• Important support function – identify all negative and misleading guidelines PCT’s are issuing regarding glucosamine and working with the Corporate Affairs Manager to formally challenge them.
