Jr. Network Engineer

Qualifications:
Masters in any field of IT or 4 years Bachelors in Computer Sciences from local university/institution or a reputed foreign university. Professional Experience will start after the completion of minimum qualification/degree(s) required for this position.
Experience:
1 year’s experience of design, installation and maintenance of local and wide area networks at a local or foreign organization of good repute.
1 years experience of installation, trouble shooting and maintenance of Windows Servers, and other client or Server software packages, at local or foreign organization(s) of good repute.
Professional experience will start after the completion of minimum qualification/degree(s) required for this post.
Certification of CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) with hands on experience will be an added advantage.
Skills:
In depth knowledge of the network topologies, protocols, tools and techniques is desirable.
Hands on knowledge about security features of different Networking/Security Products.
Experience of Configuration, Management, Troubleshooting of Network devices, Switches, DSL Modems, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Load Balancers etc.
Hands on experience of Windows system are required.
Demonstrate knowledge about features of different software packages, servers and operating platforms.
Experience of Configuration, Management, Troubleshooting of Operating platforms and software applications on Servers and PCs deployed at different location and installation of database and application servers on different operating platforms.
Working knowledge of the network topologies, protocols, tools and techniques is desirable.
Preference will be given to the professionals with industry standard certifications in the respective disciplines.
Well versed about IT technology in general.
Job Description:
Management and troubleshooting software applications, servers, and services running on the infrastructure in installed at different offices and Data centers.
Management and troubleshooting of Network applications equipments and infrastructure installed at different offices and Data Centers.
To configure/manage/monitor all the networking equipments (routers, switches, DSL Modems, Firewalls, IDS, IPS, Load Balancers etc.
Interaction with end users to provide support regarding network related issues like connectivity with serves, PCs and other equipments on the LAN/WAN
To communicate and liaison with internet connectivity (bandwidth) providers for reliable, smooth and stabilized Connectivity
Interaction with end users to provide support regarding software and hardware related issues.
To maintain inventory for hardware and software components installed.
To supervise and liaison with software development/customization vendors to monitor the performance of vendors and to ensure that latest patches of operating and application software are installed on the staging/production servers.
