Job Description
Assistant Chef / Kitchen Crew Key Responsibilities: Fast Food Preparation: Assist in making sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and other fast food items. Oven and Fryer Handling: Safely operate ovens and fryers to prepare menu items. Vegetable Preparation: Chop, wash, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients. Baking: Assist in preparing baked goods and desserts, following recipes and ensuring consistency and quality. Kitchen Management: Support in daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow. Dishwashing & Cleaning: Handle dishwashing, clean kitchen equipment, and maintain a sanitary environment. Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to hygiene standards and safety protocols at all times. Collaboration: Work effectively with the team to maintain an organized kitchen and uphold quality control. Ingredient Preparation: Wash, chop, shred, and grate ingredients as needed for chef use. Food Storage: Properly store ingredients according to food safety regulations. Requirements: At least Middle School or Matric qualification. Previous baking and fast food experience is a plus, but fresher candidates are also welcome to apply. Familiarity with baking and fast food preparation techniques and equipment. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
